Collection: Immunity

If you catch every cold going round the office, or you just want a sensible daily routine through autumn and winter, this is the place to start. Our immune support supplements are the ones we'd actually take ourselves: vitamin D3, zinc, vitamin C, and a few targeted formulas that earn their place on the shelf. No hype, no fairy-dust doses, no panic-buying because someone sneezed on the bus.

What's different here is what we've left out. We don't stock the rebadged junk you'll see in big chains, and we don't carry a product just because it's trending. Every formula in this range is something Mark would put on the counter and explain in plain English. Built for UK adults, with free shipping over £75. Have a browse and start with the basics.

Why most immunity supplements don't work

Walk into any big chain and you'll see shelves of "immune boosters" promising the earth. Most of them fail in one of three ways: the dose is too low to do anything useful, the form is cheap (zinc oxide instead of zinc picolinate, for example), or the bottle is padded out with fillers. You're paying for label theatre.

The supplements that actually help your immune system are the boring ones. Vitamin D3 at a sensible daily dose. Zinc in a bioavailable form. Vitamin C taken consistently. Nothing flashy, nothing miraculous, just nutrients your body uses every day to do its job. That's what this range is built around.

Who this range is for

UK adults who get run down through winter and want a proper daily routine. Parents catching every bug their kids bring home from school. People who work indoors under fluorescent lights from October to March and barely see daylight. Older adults who want to stay well and active. Anyone who'd rather support their immune function steadily through the year than scramble for echinacea the moment they feel a tickle.

How to choose

Start with vitamin D3 if you're in the UK between October and March. The sun isn't strong enough this far north to make vitamin D from sunlight for around half the year, so most adults are running low. LSC D3 4000iu is the daily strength most adults benefit from, or pick LSC D3 + K2 if you want combined bone and immune support.

Add zinc if you're prone to picking things up. LSC Zinc Picolinate 20mg is the form we recommend because it absorbs well. Zinc contributes to normal immune function and protection of cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C pairs nicely alongside both.

How to take it

Daily, with food, ideally in the morning. Consistency matters more than dose. One capsule of vitamin D3 with breakfast every day for six months will do more than four capsules taken sporadically. Vitamin D contributes to normal immune function. Magnesium contributes to reduction of tiredness and fatigue, which is why a lot of customers run a magnesium alongside in winter.

Common questions

Can I take vitamin D3 and zinc together? Yes, they pair fine. Should I stop in summer? Most UK adults can drop the dose from April through September if they're getting outside regularly. Are these suitable for vegetarians? Most are, check the individual product page. If you're on prescription medication, speak to your GP or pharmacist before adding anything new.
