Who this range is for
Dorian Yates won Mr. Olympia six consecutive times between 1992 and 1997. His Blood and Guts training philosophy stripped everything back to one principle: maximum intensity over maximum volume. The supplement brand follows the same thinking. DY Nutrition formulas are built for people who train with structure and want products that match that level of commitment.
That means strength athletes, bodybuilders, gym regulars training three or more times a week, and anyone doing high-intensity work who needs to fuel hard sessions and recover properly. If you're new to training or still building your base, the Muscle and Strength range is a better starting point before committing to performance-specific products.
What's in this range
Ten products across four core performance categories.
-
Dorian Yates Creatine 300g and Ultimate Creatine Complex 400g - pure creatine monohydrate and a broader creatine stack. Creatine is one of the most-studied performance ingredients in sport. Five grams daily, taken consistently, supports output during repeated high-intensity efforts - the evidence base here is more solid than almost anything else in sports nutrition.
-
Blood and Guts Pre-Workout (20 servings) and NOX Pump Ultimate 400g - one stimulant-based, one stimulant-free. Also M6teen Liquid Shots if you want a grab-and-go option before the gym.
-
HIT EAA 360g, HIT BCAA 4:1:1 + Glutamine, and HIT BCAA 10:1:1 - essential aminos and branched-chain options at different leucine ratios. Most useful during fasted sessions, longer workouts, or calorie-deficit periods.
-
L-Glutamine 300g - unflavoured, mixes into anything, easy to add to a post-workout shake.
How to use it
Start with creatine if you're not already taking it. Five grams daily, including rest days - creatine works through saturation, not acute dosing, so consistency matters more than timing. Mix it into water, a shake, or a cold drink. Give it three to four weeks before judging it.
Pre-workout 20 to 30 minutes before your session. Blood and Guts is stimulant-based, so start with half a serving if you're sensitive to caffeine or training later in the day. NOX Pump is the better fit for evening sessions or if you prefer stimulant-free.
Amino acids are most useful during fasted training, long sessions, or periods where calories are tight. They're not essential if you're already hitting protein targets from food and protein shakes. Browse the Recovery range if you're looking to round out your post-session routine alongside the DY Nutrition stack.
