HIT BCAA 10:1:1, A Heavy-Leucine Training Powder
HIT BCAA 10:1:1 is the heavier-leucine version of DY Nutrition's training amino formula. The ratio is ten parts leucine to one part isoleucine and one part valine. 400g per tub, 20 servings, designed for sipping during high-intensity sessions in the Dorian Yates training style.
- 10:1:1 ratio
- Powder
- 20 servings
- 400g tub
- Intra-workout
Why a 10:1:1 Ratio
A 2:1:1 BCAA is the textbook ratio. A 4:1:1 leans leucine. A 10:1:1 leans heavily on leucine and uses the other two amino acids almost as supporting players. Leucine is the amino most directly tied to the muscle protein synthesis signal, and a 10:1:1 split is a deliberately leucine-loaded position. It's a marmite ratio in training circles, you either prefer it or you don't.
This product is not for casual gym-goers. It sits in the part of the range built for people who already train hard and already hit their daily protein number from food and shakes.
Who It's For
- Hard-training lifters running HIT or similarly demanding protocols
- Anyone who already runs a 4:1:1 BCAA and wants to try a heavier leucine ratio
- Trainees who prefer an intra-workout drink over caffeine-heavy products
- Customers building out the DY Nutrition stack
What's Different About This One
The ratio. Most BCAAs on the UK market are 2:1:1. A 10:1:1 is a clear point of view from a brand built around hard training. We stock the wider DY Nutrition range because the formulas are deliberate rather than generic.
How to Take It
Mix one scoop into 400 to 500ml of cold water and sip across a training session, or as directed on the tub. 20 servings per 400g tub gives you roughly a month's worth at four sessions a week. For pre and post-workout options see the Pre / Intra / Post-Workout collection.
Stacking
Pair with a sensible protein intake from food and a quality whey or plant protein from the Protein Powders range. Creatine sits comfortably alongside any BCAA. Glutamine can too, though the 10:1:1 formula already gives you a heavy leucine hit, so build the rest of the stack with that in mind.
