Why a vegan D3 from lichen

Most Vitamin D3 on the market is derived from lanolin in sheep's wool. That works, but it rules the product out for vegans and many vegetarians. Viridian's D3 here is sourced from lichen, which gives you the more bioavailable D3 (cholecalciferol) form in a plant-friendly capsule. Same active vitamin, different source.

Vitamin D contributes to normal immune function and to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function. Those are authorised nutrient claims.
